On Monday, July 29th, Diversified supported the EVO AMC Project Contractors Classic Charity Golf Tournament in Fernie. Based out of Sparwood, BC, PCL and TECK hosted the tournament, with 100% of the funds raised going to Alberta-based Angel Flight.
Angel Flight is an organization of volunteer pilots, aircraft owners and ground support. They have come together to help Albertans get to and from their medical appointments efficiently, reducing stress and at NO COST to the patient or family.
By transporting patients to and from their appointments, often on the same day, they enable patients to receive vital, non-emergent medical care that might otherwise be inaccessible due to financial, geographic, or medical limitations.
